See your doctor: There are different possible causes for knee, calf and ankle pain. The most worrisome would be a blood clot. Would recommend an evaluation with your physician or local orthopaedic surgeon to identify the cause and recommend treatment.

Severe knee pain bend, walk, stairs, etc. MRI 5 yrs ago partial tear of ACL & cyst. Now radiates in calf/down leg; wakes @ night; ankle fract May '13?
I have recently started getting a hot sensation running down the outside of my left leg from knee to ankle, like warm water being poured down my leg.
Can RA, Adenomyosis (causes clotting) or a ruptured Baker's cyst cause elevated d-dimer. 2 US and neither found clot. Lump behind right knee, edema in calf and foot. Can't fully extend. No warmth or discoloration. Feels like water running down leg?
I fell on my knee and now it hurts and now it feels like I have water sensation running down my leg? I have bad sciatic problems and can barely walk.
