Not directly. Tho --: The nerve injury can affect the whole leg resulting in weakness, inability to stand on it. Such situation can cause a fall or injury with pain/swelling of joints of the foot/ankle/knee. Torn acl is not particularly associated with nerve injury.

I believe i have a torn ACL. I have swelling arty the knee and under the knee. Now I've noticed from my hurt knee all the way down to my ankle my entire leg /chin/ankle is really swollen. This is new. Is this due to the injury?
