Great: That's where you want your tsh. Your "normal" levels are different from the normal levels on the lab slip, as you need to be suppressed so that you don't stimulate any thyroid growth. Make sure you're on brand name T4 replacement and your doctor keeps close tabs on your level. Also check your serum thyroglobulin, which can be a thyroid cancer tumor marker and ultrasound.

Common: Tsh is 0.004 because the thyroid dose you are taking is too high. This might be done on purpose by your doctor to make sure the cancer is not coming back. The risk should be reevaluated each time and eventually, the thyroid dose will be scaled back to normal once it's determined that the risk of recurrent thyroid cancer is very low.
