Yes: There are alternate tests if most invasive are not agreed upon. The most important part will be to ask patiently what are other options, pros and cons and let doc explain what are the possibilities as far as diagnosis.

Had endoscopy done... extremely mild IM found. Here is what was written: antral-type and body type gastric mucosa with focal intestinal metaplasia. GI doctor told me to check up in a year. She found everything to be benign. Thoughts? Huge risk? None?
