I take a once a week shot for my diabetes, ozempic, the half life is five days my question is how long will it take for the ozempic to completely get out of my system. i am asking this question because i want to start a new medicine?

Basics: The standard mantra is it takes 4 half lives for a drug to be out of your system. Other factors will change depending on the properties of a given medicine. Discuss this with your doc & they will consider this when they make the change as well as how they would advise you to monitor the transition.
