Normal: Immunizations work by introducing a killed virus or part of a virus and letting the baby's immune system mount an immune response as if it was "fighting it off". After the immune response is done, the body remembers this virus or part and can mount a more vigorous response if it is exposed to it again. During the original immune response, babies may have mild symptoms. This is normal.
