I had creatinine test done, result 1.0, another done few days ago 1.7. urea test within range. had constipation, diarrhea fluid retention. taken flagyl,ors and zinc several occasions, then omeprozoll. plus other hbp meds. why did my creatinine jumpd?

Dehydration: Appears to have contributed to the bump in creatinine on limited history. Blood pressure pills as well during dehydration might have decreased filtration pressure. On the blind side, the possible infection (bowel?) could have caused transient renal insufficiency. Make sure you follow up with your doc as you will remain prone to similar events in the future.
