Have been on cipro and flagyl for presumed diverticulitis, advised clear fluids and soft foods/dry toast for taking antibiotics. am i okay to eat activia yogurt to try to counter the diarrhea im starting to have, or should i be avoiding dairy?

If you're only a few days into treatment, probably it should continue. If near the end of the intended treatment period, maybe you can stop the drugs. Dairy probably won't make much difference either way. But each case is different; the place to ask is the office of the doctor or clinic treating you. Good luck.

You can have it. But also let the prescriber know that you have diarrhea. Hope you feel better.
