Diagnose: The most important would be to diagnose your condition and have it treated at the root. Pain treatment should be only the bridge to definitive treatment. You can start with your doc or dentist for an exam in order to determine the possible cause for your mouth pain. Otherwise you are right to worry about taking tylenol and ibuprofen indefinitely for pain.

Determine the cause: The best thing you can do is determine the cause of your pain and have it treated. Continuously taking pain meds solves nothing. Please see a dentist to rule out any dentally related issues.
