Hi-recently my hands have started itching and it is very bad at night to the point where i cant sleep. the skin is mostly dry with a few small red patches. i have tried the following but get no relief:cortisone cream, eucerin, allergex tabs and cream?

Skin problems.: Have you used a quality moisturizer if skin is dry? Colloidal oatmeal baths? These lesions would need to be assessed to determine the cause and an appropriate plan of care.

What can be done about itching in skin folds? The itching is more intense when bathing in warm water. Medicated talcum powder gives only temporary relief. Antibiotic ointments only seem to make it worse. Cortisone cream has no effect one way or the other.
