A member asked:

Each time i get exposed to heat or sunlight, my skin itches with some flashes but rapidly disappear after a bath with cold water. i once visited a doctor and he prescribed chlorpheniramine , epimax cream and promethazine injection, & are not working?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Irrespective of your skin color, wearing a sunscreen of at least 40 SPF is essential to reduce itching and redness. A low strength cortisone ointment , not cream , is best for the itch if it continues to be a problem
