What does subtle linear atelectasis/parenchymal scarring in the left and lower zones of lungs mean?

See below: Atelecatsis means some loss of lung volume, it could be mild and harmless with no symptoms at all, or might need more work up like chest CT scan if there are symptom like shortness of breadth, long standing cough as well underlying history of smoking ,asthma, or copd/ emphysema or other lung issues. simple deep breathing exercises help in clearing secretions and increasing lung volumes
