Need clinical info: There may be a linear collapse in one area of the lung (plate atelectasis) .One possible reason is not taking deep breaths . Sometimes the term veil can be used to describe hazy opacification. Bottom line is that if this is your X-ray you need to discuss it with your physician who can put this into a proper clinical context. We can't diagnose based on this info.
