Apthous ulcers: Canker sores can be caused by a variety of triggers, minor injury from dental work, vigorous brushing or sharp food, products containing sodium lauryl sulfate, acidic foods, diet lacking in vit B12, zinc, folate or iron, stress, hormone fluctuations. CS can also occur due to sp conditions: Celiac disease, inflammatory bowel diseases, autoimmune disorders or HIV.
