A member asked:

Do you think the crowds at the protest marches will bring a second wave of covid-19, or their masks and bandanas will be enough protection for both tear gas and covid-19?

High Risk: Crowds of people yelling and screaming (which projects droplets), not socially distancing and occasionally wearing masks are putting themselves and all the others at risk for contracting Covid. I would expect to see a big spike in cases due to this behavior. All persons involved in the protests should get tested and should quarantine themselves for 14 days from at risk family members.

BIG, BIG risk!: Many of the protestors recently have not worn masks or face coverings. Even though these are outdoor events (which is less of a risk than being in a poorly ventilated crowded indoor space), this is like a petri dish just waiting to be infected.
