What about covid-19 risks to those that are traveling across the states via car? wouldn't that be risky as well being they'd be going in and out of states that have large cases and stopping for gas, food, hotels, etc?

Take precautions : Taken precautions to lessen risks while traveling. Wash hands often with warm water & soap for at least 20 seconds. Avoid touching eyes, nose or mouth unless hands have just been washed. Use a face covering or mask when in public. Practice social distancing – stay at least 6 feet from others (outside of family you live with). Stay away from crowds.
