Mild asthma: Mild intermittent asthma that is only triggered by exercise and without the need for inhaled steroids is a mild risk factor. More severe chronic asthma, associated with chronic lung inflammation is a risk factor for complications of COVID 19. Continue to use precautions and good handwashing.

COVID 19: You are not likely to be at significant risk for worse COVID outcome if you have intermittent, exercise induced asthma. People with moderate to severe asthma (that is not well - controlled) have an increased risk of a poor outcome with COVID 19.
