Should you discontinue use of asthma inhalers containing steroids such as symbicort or pro air with the outbreak of covid 19? i have read that steroids can possibly make things worse. thank you.

No: Please adhere to your asthma plan. The inhaled form of steroids used for asthma will not increase your chances of acquiring viral illness, but uncontrolled asthma may worsen your overall respiratory health, increase inflammation in the lung and make you more prone to having an asthma attack.
