I had a miscarriage about a year ago on 7 weeks with my second child. after the miscarriage my menstruation cycle was back on track but with more cramping and clots that differs from big to small. we have been trying to conceive for over 8 months now?

Ultrasound: Hi, I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. It's quite common to have increased cramping and clotting. It would be very unlikely to have any retained tissue (like placenta) at 8 months but I think it's worth checking on it with an ultrasound. I know 8 months is a terribly long time to be waiting to conceive. It can take up to a year sometimes. Good luck!
