I have been bleeding (spotting) for 6 weeks now. i think i had a miscarriage because on new years eve i was bleeding heavy and a large blood clot came out when i used the bathroom and after that i have been spotting and having cramps. can you help?

A blood test: for pregnancy hormone and blood count, can be helpful. An exam with your doctor and possibly an ultrasound may also be useful. If residual pregnancy remnants are causing the bleeding a curettage of the uterus may be needed.
