Yes: Hi. Yes, the angiotensin II receptor antagonist/blocker (ARB), losartan, is a very good medicine for treating high blood pressure. It's well tolerated, convenient (taken once/day), and very helpful in diabetes and congestive heart failure in addition to treating high blood pressure.
