I got my braces off on november 2022 and ive got my retainers for free the first time. they recently broke and i cant afford new ones. the top ones broke on the last two left molars. i want to know if i will be ok or not?

Your first set of retainers were included in the total price of your treatment... they were not free. You will need to find the funds to have a new set fabricated to avoid the shifting of your teeth. Failure to remake the retainers may negate all the hard work straightening your teeth. Re-evaluate your expenses.

Not OK. It takes 6 wks for bone to fill around tooth roots, 6 m for bone to mature, 9 m for the ligament that holds the teeth into the bone to adapt, & up to 2 yrs for soft tissue drape to mature. No retainers, your teeth will shift and you will have wasted time & money. You paid for 1st set as part of your overall fee for treatment. Please have new set made, and be more careful next time.

I just got my braces off i just got my braces off last month, and yesterday my little sister broke my retainer.(top) i called my ortho immediately and came in this morning to get the impressions of my teeth and now have to wait 2 weeks for new retainers.
If I have a crown in one of my molars and the crown is slightly unfit (bigger than what my jaw allow, just slightly), could braces possibly adjust that to align/fit my other teeth as well or should I get a new crown that perfectly fit before braces?
