Is a firm lymph node in the armpit always worrisome if it hasnt grown and stayed the same size of 1-1.1 cm along with pea sized nodes in the neck that havent grown any over 9 months? what can be the cause these? doctor says they look ok.

Lymph node: Most enlarged lymph nodes are caused by infection or inflammation. Some enlarged lymph nodes may be due to cancer metastasis or lymphoma. If lymph nodes have not grown over the last 9 months, they most likely are benign in nature. However, I encourage you to follow your doctor for physical exam.
