Out of plane: Artifacts occur in echocardiography from mirror images and beam width deviations leading at times to axis and plane irregularities. Your cardiologist wants to be sure your heart valves are truly ok. If you have no significant heart murmurs,I predict those findings on your echocardiogram were artifactual.
