Do i have to throw out my clothing if i get coughed on by someone with covid-19? will washing the clothes sterilize them well enough?

No: You do not have to throw away your clothes. Just be careful and do not touch them and/or your face, mouth, nose, eyes. As soon as able throw them in the washer and wash your hands. As opposed to other viruses, this virus seems to survive much longer on inanimate surfaces.

Agree with Dr. P: Washer and dryer will kill the virus.
