Hi doc, not sure if im just being paranoid but i have had diarrhoea two days ago that only lasted a few hours but i have came across information on news 24 stating that a possible symptom of the covid-19 virus is diarrhoea.

Covid19: Although diarrhea can be one of the symptoms, at this time your symptoms don't warrant concern. Sore throat, fever, cough and/or chest discomfort would be characteristic symptoms and would warrant a call to your physician or a clinic for advice or instructions for testing.

Resolved diarrhea: It is indeed listed as a symptom; however, not a lot is known about this virus and it isn't known how a primarily respiratory virus affects the GI system, but if you do not have any other symptoms it may have been something you ate or drank- especially since you say it resolved. Follow up with your primary physician if you are still concerned.
