I injured my knee while doing yoga (possibly from stretching or too much weight put on knee). its been hurting for one week and swelling has increased. what could the injury be? should i see a doctor?

Sprain: The most likely sours of your pain is tendon or ligament sprain around the knee. Possible cartilage damage. Try rest, heating pad, knee brace if you want first. See a doctor if you have fever, chills, the knee feels hot, and looks red. Otherwise give a couple of weeks taking it easy on activities that hurts.
