I injured my knee and doctors think its a torn mcl swelling is getting worse and worse. has been drained once and the swelling just comes back. its extremely hot to the touch and now my foot keeps getting cold and numb. could this be a serious pro?

Yes. What you described is suggestive of infection/inflammation in the joint and warrants immediate attention by a doctor, preferably an orthopedic surgeon.
