Hi i had dvt last year which i am now fully recovered. i have sprained my ankle yesterday. it is now swollen but i am managing it with anti- inflammatory cream. is there a risk of my dvt coming back. should i take my blood thinners again. (xarelto)?

Get an ultrasound: Short answer is yes. A simple ultrasound will rule in or out.
