Ovulation ?'s: Ovulation tests detect a hormone called "LH", which occurs within a 24 hour peak and falls back to near zero. A sustained LH production is generally associated with irregular periods, and may be caused by polycystic ovarian syndrome. If pregnancy is desired, get a referral to a gyn endocrinologist to advise on treatment.
