Not to worry!: No woman's cycles are 100% identical every month & tthe hormones regulating cycles are VERY complex. A small variation in the rate of maturation of the ovarian follicle can lead to a variation in the timing of the LH surge which can last from 24 to 48 hours. What you observed is a perfectly normal, modest hormonal variation. It's not until menopause that the cyclic variation goes away.
