CONFLICTING INFO: I HAVE SEEN ARTICLES ON BOTH SIDES OF USING ADVIL OR MOTRIN. PERSONALLY I WOULD RECOMMEND NOT USING IT BECAUSE SIDE EFFECTS, INTERACTIONS AND COMPLICATIONS FROM NSAIDS IN GENERAL. ACETAMINOPHEN IS SAFER.

Avoid Ibuprofen: There is evidence that if you have a severe case of COVID-19 infection and take ibuprofen then you may suffer more serious consequences including hospitalization, need for ICU care or even death. Recommendation for anyone suspected of having COVID-19 infection is to use acetaminophen (Tylenol) and avoid ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin).
