I have post nasal drip.i started to google and started getting worried about food getting into my lungs when i swallow. currently, everytime i drink water i have to cough. my body doesn't aspirate i just do it to feel better.any tips to stop coughing?

Postnasal drip: Addressing the postnasal drip should help with the cough. It is not likely that you aspirate, cough is reflex, clearing secretions. Commonly, allergies cause chronic postnasal drip and a trial of anti-allergy meds with or without a nasal spray may offer relief.
