ANTI-OXIDANTS: Anti-oxidants are naturally occurring elements, already in our bodies. Most human diets do not provide enough, thus supplements. I have not heard of increased risk from anti-oxidants unless they are being taken in doses ABOVE what is recommended. When taken at the proper dose, they produce many positive effects from anti-aging, to cancer risk reduction, to improved memory and brain function.
