Over the next 2: months allow cycles to normalize, then starting to try again, after two regular cycles, should be ok. Please discuss your specific case with your doctor to be sure all information is considered. Testing for causes of recurrent miscarriage can be done and treatment could help.

Still possible: As long as there is one functioning Fallopian tube and ovary + uterus present, it is still possible to conceive. However, your history will make it more difficult to carry the fetus to full term and will require a High Risk OB-GYN (Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialist) to care for the new pregnancy.

How can I handle mild food allergies in my infant?

Avoidance: For food allergies, avoidance is the best option. However, if the food is a nutritionally important food such as milk or wheat, it may be best to be tested to make sure. An allergist can help decide if you child has a food allergy, give tips on avoidance, prescribe an epi pen for severe allergies, and decide when to test if the food allergy is decreasing since some are outgrown.

My baby cries whenever I put her to sleep on her tummy, they say I have to do that 4 her lungs to be strong?

Who told you that ?: The american academy of pediatrics & many other advisory groups have promoted sleeping on a babies back since the early 90's. Since that time we have seen a 40-50% drop in crib death over that period. I know of no one that advises belly sleeping for any reason, although if baby rolls into that position after 6m i don't try to change it. Tummy time while awake can help build upper body strength.

A 24-year-old female asked:

I had gestational diabetes while I was and had to take insulin. Now my baby is 6weeks old and the diabetes is gone. I'm just wondering if there is higher riskfor my baby to be diabetic later on in life?

Not directly: The diabetes of pregnancy is closest to the Insulin resistant or type 2 diabetes which is something all of us can get under some circumstances. You are at risk for a return of type 2 later & things like an active lifestyle & maintaining a healthy weight tend to reduce your risk. I wouldn't be concerned about childhood diabetes which is a very different process.

Yes: Ca require small amounts of skin removal for margins then local flap or skin grafts can be used to cover the defect.
Dr. Hashim Alani

skin cancer should be removed together with aa acceptable margin so it will not come back. Repair can be with a flap or graft. Good luck

How painful is it to have a mole removed?

4 doctor answers11 doctors weighed in
Dr. Joseph Woods
Pathology 28 years experience
It depends/not bad.: It depends on where the mole is as well as its size, etc.. If the mole is irregular and large, it might need wide excision to rule out, and capture a possible malignancy, like melanoma. If it is small and uniform, it can be removed like a wart with outpatient surgery, likely by freezing it off. Pain killers, etc csan be given, so there is probably little or no pain. Best to get it removed.
