Sinus got damaged during tooth extraction. reconstructive surgery was made. doctor said to inform if i notice blood from the nose. there is subtle fluid discharge from the nose but no blood. should i be concerned? is there life long complications?

Concerning: If there is any connection of the oral cavity to the maxillary sinus you are at high risk for chronic sinus infection. The present drainage could be just inflammatory in nature but sinus films would be advisable
