Probably: It's likely old blood/clot/scab from the surgery. If continues, or develop new bleeding, you need to have the doctor evaluate.

Expected: "black blood" is old blood. Depending on how many sinuses were opened/ cleaned out, you may still have some old blood circulating through your sinus passages. Confirm your sinus cleansing regimen with your ENT surgeon.

Yes: Sometimes the blood that gets into the sinus sits there mixes with the mucus and turns into tarry liver like substance that they sinus eventually expels. It should be nothing to worry about.
