The discharge is green and may indicate a sinus infection. The treatment includes a course of antibiotics. Other symptoms may include a headache, fever and cough. Watch for difficulty breathing, and discuss COVID 19 testing and vaccination with your PCP. If you have allergic rhinitis, please follow your allergy plan. My colleagues and I all agree that you describe a sinus infection, which likely will require antibiotics. See your doctor ASAP, but in meantime acquire a Neti Pot to use for nasal rinses. Steam will also help and can be done in a shower, but be careful of burn risks.
