The discharge is green and may indicate a sinus infection. The treatment includes a course of antibiotics. Other symptoms may include a headache, fever and cough. Watch for difficulty breathing, and discuss COVID 19 testing and vaccination with your PCP. If you have allergic rhinitis, please follow your allergy plan. This may include avoidance of potential triggers such as dust and mold.

My colleagues and I all agree that you describe a sinus infection, which likely will require antibiotics. See your doctor ASAP, but in meantime acquire a Neti Pot to use for nasal rinses. Steam will also help and can be done in a shower, but be careful of burn risks.
