A member asked:

I had a tooth extraction 2 weeks ago. after stitching, the doctor put a thin gauze on the stitches. i noticed a spot of blood on the gauze. it's possible that it is my blood but what is the danger of infection if it isn't?

Dental Gauze: If you are concerned that the the gauze that was placed was contaminated, I would not worry. Gauze is used once then disposed.
