If i have a large simple ovarian cyst on my left ovary can it be removed with medication? does it lead to infertility? will my ovaries have to be removed? what does simple mean?

Ovarian cysts form: every time a person ovulates, larger (greater than 4 or 5 cm), are more rare, can be just fluid filled(simple), or complex(fluid/solid). Simple cysts usually resolve over a 4 - 6 week time frame, sometimes with medications to help. If not resolved or complex, surgery is often required. Removal of the cyst or ovary is decided on a case by case basis.
