What are the risk factors and effects of not giving the 2nd dose of mmr vaccine to my baby ? am i putting my baby at high risk ?the 1st dose isnt enough!because he had an allergic reaction(red bumps)of one of its ingredients when he had the 1st dose

MMR safety: The MMR vaccines are given in a series of 2 because sometimes people do not build enough immunity from the first shot. Two shots usually will protect your child for life. Having a rash with the MMR vaccine is not unusual (especially near where the injection hapens) and is not considered a dangerous allergic reaction.
