Chapatis/breads that are used in subcintinent on daily. they are made from wheat flour. is eating wheat flour chapatis can lead to diabetes? or it is fine to eat them.

Some basics: Breads of any type, but specifically wheat flour, contain carbohydrates that are readily converted to sugar. These can be part of a balanced diet & consumed regularly with no impact on diabetes risk. However, diets rich in carbohydrates can lead to weight gain & tax the bodies ability to make enough insulin. As such they can also contribute to adult onset diabetes.
