A diabetic can eat whole wheat bread, especially if they are taking their medicine. If there is concern about the blood sugar, the blood sugar can be checked a couple of hopes after eating it and see if it causes a blood sugar spike. If the bread is eaten with a protein or fat, this will decrease the potential blood sugar spike. You can see a dietician to discuss these foods. Good luck!
