LH surge ?'s: Absent regular ovulation, the level of LH increases , and may be misinterpreted as a pre-ovulatory "surge". At age 42, an FSH of 69 is probably not going to result in ovulation. Pre-mature menopause may contribute to these test results. With a negative ultrasound to corroborate the preceding, other ovarian stimulatory methods may be indicated.
