R.e. said pre. menopause, anovulation-ttc iui. 2nd opinion, said i ovulated same cycle. pre-men symptoms ended up due to undiag hyperthyroidism- can e2 and fsh be wrong if checked 2nd day after last dose of femara & can hyperthyr cause false e2 & fsh?

Hormones: From a Research article from 2012 induced hyperthyroidism of rats caused lowering of FSH however increase in LH. The study did not study estrogen levels. Femara is an aromatase inhibitor and lowers estrogen levels. Your reproductive specalist may be taking this into account. However, it would seem that both hyperthyroid and Femara would have an effect on your homeostasis.
