A member asked:

Pea sized, non visible hard bump on left side of my apple that's moves up & down when swallowing . there is on other side not as prominent though more flat what is it? i have hashimotos thyroiditis scan no abnormalities. it has been there 8+ years

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Throat "hard bump" ?: A "hard bump" near the "Adam's apple" may represent a thyroid nodule , however the "bump" is most likely not significant if it's been there for "8+ years".
