No drugs for cure: There are no drugs currently that cures hiv, the virus that causes aids. The drugs that are available are called antiretroviral therapy. These drugs are able to clear the bloodstream of hiv, but HIV is very clever and is able to hide out in other places, like lymph nodes, where it can lay dormant or sleeping for years. The drugs are not able to get to these hiding places to kill hiv, thus no cure.
