Are we getting close to find a cure for aids?

Not close yet: I would love to be optimistic and say that we will have a cure soon, but i think the researchers are still missing a key understanding of how HIV and/or how our immune system works or is affected by hiv. Understanding these issues will give us more information on how to combat hiv, likely via vaccination so that we can stimulate our own immune system to recognize and kill HIV everywhere in body.
