Flu treatment: If your wife's diagnosis of influenza is confirmed or the doctor thinks it likely, you definitely should take oseltamivir (Tamiflu) for 10 days to protect yourself. Contact your doctor (or your wife's) and ask for a prescription. ( Your wife also should be treated, unless she is already recovering.)
