Yes: If at least an hour has passed between when you swallowed the medicine and when you threw up, your body has started to absorb some of the medicine. Talk with your doc about taking something for nausea or vomiting [like Meclizine or prescription zofran]. Sorry to hear that you have the flu. Hope you are feeling better soon.
